The original value of vouchers available was $500,000 - of that, there were about $130,000 in unredeemed vouchers. Roughly $100,000 worth of vouchers will be available to claim today (June 7th) starting at 7pm. Check out these Northside restaurants participating in the Onondaga County Gift Card Matching Program How does it work?When registration for restaurants is open: Step 1. Go to the website, register for a voucher in the dollar amount you want to spend (up to $100) Step 2. A voucher for your chosen amount will be emailed to you. Step 3. Present the voucher (either on your phone or a print out) at the restaurant along with an accepted form of payment (cash or card, for example) in a matching value (if the voucher is for $25, you will also pay $25). Step 4. The restaurant will issue you a gift card for the combined value of the voucher and payment (so if you have a $25 voucher and $25 payment, you will receive a $50 gift card). Onondaga County will reimburse the restaurant the value of the voucher within 72 hours of them submitting the claim.
